Dear Parent(s),
Welcome to Little Tyke Creative Child Care. We recognize your choice of early childhood programs is one of the most important decisions you will make for your child. At Little Tyke Creative Child Care, we are committed to providing a positive, rewarding experience for your child and your family.
To ensure your child has a fun and exciting learning environment, Little Tyke Creative Child Care has chosen HighReach Learning® curriculum. This curriculum provides a balance between teacher instruction and child exploration, and is based on sound child development standards and proven practices. The flexible design of each curriculum program allows teachers to choose the activities that best meet students' individual needs and interests. Developing essential school readiness skills while allowing each child to learn at his/her own pace and have fun is the basis of HighReach Learning curriculum.
A broad lesson plan is posted every Monday for parents to keep informed of their child's class activities.
Lessons should include activities to enhance the following skills:
- Pre- and Beginning Reading
- Pre- and Beginning Math
- Nature and Science
- Fine and Gross Motor Skills
- Social Skills
Please check the lesson plan for your child's class so that you can be aware of the Unit of Study and supplement your child's experience each week.
